Soylent Green

Modsquad is one of the big names in the
bit-tech modding community, having previously been responsible for uber-mod
Black Narcissus. Having polished that off, a friend of his asked him to create a new mod - and Soylent Green is the result. Those who know their retro cinema will be aware that Soylent Green is the name of a
sci-fi film starring Charlton Heston!
The project is getting fairly close to completion now, so Modsquad is working on the details and the finishing touches. One of the bits and bobs to be sorted is the workings of the fan grills on the case. To the rescue is some bendy aluminium mesh.
The system is going to be stealth watercooled, and the reservoir is the acrylic version of the Aqua-computers AquaBox. With the modded green fascia and some green LED lights to come, it should match the theme of the case quite nicely.
The top of the case houses a case window with more lit green edging and a watercooling pump. The waterblock for the graphics card has had a touch of paint added for decoration.
The bottom of the case is covered in a piece of black acrylic and this is held down by some polished acorn nuts and gorgeous green washers.
The case is coming along nicely, and there are some new updates showing some PSU modding, too. The whole project is over 50 pages, but it's well worth reading - Modsquad is clearly one of the top-talented modders in the community right now.
